In response, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has called on the government to create a plan to end the crossings at Roxham Road within a month. Quebec has asked the federal government to transfer to other provinces all new asylum seekers who enter irregularly, and to apply the Safe Third Country Agreement to all points of entry, both official and unofficial.
