Byju\’s has discussed shutting down coding platform WhiteHat Jr

Byju\’s, India\’s most valuable startup, is considering whether or not to shut down WhiteHat Jr, a coding platform it acquired two years ago. This comes as the company looks to cut costs and address criticism of the platform. WhiteHat Jr has been accused of misleading claims and aggressive tactics to court students, and its founder Karan Bajaj left Byju\’s a year after the acquisition. Byju\’s has since taken steps to address criticism, such as no longer visiting students\’ homes to pitch to their parents and conducting tests to determine affordability before signing students up. The decision over WhiteHat Jr has not yet been reached. Follow my Facebook group for updates on this story.
