  • Violent carjacking in Milton sees woman dragged from car, thrown to ground in broad daylight | Globalnews.ca

    A brazen carjacking in Milton, Ontario was captured on video, showing a woman in her 50s being dragged out of her vehicle and thrown to the ground before the thieves took off. The robbery happened in a busy plaza at 9:40am and the stolen vehicle was later recovered in Brampton. Police had attempted to stop the vehicle before the carjacking, but terminated the pursuit due to the amount of traffic. Suspects are still at large and police have released information on the suspects. Witnesses and those with dashcam footage are encouraged to contact Halton Regional Police Service. The incident has left the community shaken, as it is not usual to see such violent crimes in Milton. People are urged to comply with demands and call police if they are ever caught in a carjacking.
