Google Cloud and the Tezos Foundation have announced a partnership to expand web3 application development and provide new services for their customers. The partnership will make it easier for Google Cloud customers to become Tezos network validators, and Google Cloud will also become a baker. Tezos is an open source proof-of-stake blockchain that has partnered with major brands and companies, and it recently partnered with the California DMV to help the agency digitize car titles. Google Cloud is trying to reduce the barrier to entry for developers to build on the Tezos blockchain and is looking to partner with other key players in the web3 ecosystem. This year, Google Cloud plans to focus on the core principles of blockchain technology.
