Amazon has completed its acquisition of One Medical, a membership-based healthcare provider. For a subscription fee of $144 per year, One Medical offers members access to telehealth services, same- or next-day appointments, and an app. The FTC is investigating the acquisition for possible antitrust issues and harms to consumers. Amazon has temporarily discounted the subscription fee to $12 per month with a ONEAMAZON code. Neil Lindsay, Amazon Health Services senior VP, said they are \”inspired by their human-centered, technology-forward approach\” and excited to help One Medical grow and serve more patients.
