  • ‘Jail bharo’ movement: LHC asks Punjab govt to release leaders, workers of PTI

    لاہور: لاہور ہائی کورٹ نے جمعہ کے روز پنجاب کی نگراں حکومت کو پاکستان تحریک انصاف (پی ٹی آئی) کے ان رہنماؤں اور کارکنوں کو رہا کرنے کا حکم دیا جنہوں نے اپنی پارٹی کی \’جیل بھرو تحریک\’ کے لیے رضاکارانہ طور پر گرفتاریاں کی تھیں، اگر وہ ایسا نہیں کرتے تھے۔ کسی بھی مجرمانہ معاملے میں ضروری ہے۔

    عدالت نے پی ٹی آئی کے سینئر نائب صدر فواد چوہدری کی درخواست میں حکومت اور پولیس سمیت تمام فریقین کو 7 مارچ تک جواب جمع کرانے کے لیے نوٹسز بھی جاری کر دیے جس میں پارٹی کے تمام رہنماؤں اور کارکنوں کی رہائی کی استدعا کی گئی ہے۔

    درخواست گزار کے وکیل نے موقف اختیار کیا کہ حکومت نے سینکڑوں سیاسی کارکنوں اور رہنماؤں کو حراست میں لے کر نامعلوم مقامات پر منتقل کر دیا ہے۔

    عدالت نے وکیل سے استفسار کیا کہ پی ٹی آئی رہنماؤں/ کارکنوں کی گرفتاریوں اور نظربندی میں کیا غیر قانونی ہے؟ عدالت نے وکیل سے مزید پوچھا کہ یہ پٹیشن کیسے قابل سماعت ہے کیونکہ پارٹی نے خود جیل بھرو تحریک شروع کی تھی۔

    وکیل نے کہا کہ تمام گرفتار افراد سیاسی قیدی ہیں اور اس حوالے سے قوانین واضح ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ تحریک کا واحد مقصد نگران حکومت کو آئین کے مطابق انتخابات کی تاریخ کا اعلان کرنے پر مجبور کرنا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پارٹی نے اپنی \’جیل بھرو تحریک\’ ختم کر دی ہے کیونکہ سپریم کورٹ نے الیکشن کمیشن کو پنجاب اور کے پی کے صوبوں میں عام انتخابات 90 دن کے اندر کرانے کا حکم دیا تھا۔

Dioxins can stick around in soil for decades and accumulate up the food chain in oils and other fats. They have been linked with cancer, developmental problems in children and reproductive issues and infertility in adults. Testing for dioxins is important to determine the extent to which they are present in the soil and the surrounding area and to reassure the community.

  • OPP release footage of failed break-in in Erin that involved a blowtorch | Globalnews.ca

    Wellington County OPP have released video of two suspects attempting to break into a vending machine with a blowtorch at a business in the town of Erin on Monday night. The suspects were seen attempting to manoeuvre a U-Haul van in a parking lot and a second vehicle, believed to be a stolen 2005 black Subaru Forester, was also involved. The suspects failed to make off with any money but caused around $25,000 in damage. On Tuesday, the same U-Haul truck was involved in a second break-in and two vans were stolen. Police have recovered the U-Haul but are still searching for the stolen vehicles and the suspects. Have you seen these suspects?     بلوچستان نیشنل پارٹی (عوامی) کے سیکرٹری جنرل اور صوبائی وزیر زراعت میر اسد اللہ بلوچ نے کہا ہے کہ وفاقی حکومت نے صوبے کو رواں مالی سال کے 40 ارب روپے ادا نہیں کیے اور گزشتہ مالی سال کے 11 ارب روپے واجب الادا تھے۔

    انہوں نے کہا کہ سیلاب سے متاثرہ لوگوں کو امداد کی اشد ضرورت ہے لیکن اس قسم کی قدرتی آفات میں صوبے کو ہمیشہ تنہا چھوڑ دیا گیا۔

    اے پی پی سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ صوبے میں موجودہ مالیاتی بحران کی وجہ سے سرکاری معاملات بری طرح مفلوج ہو کر رہ گئے ہیں۔

    انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ \”بلوچستان سیلاب متاثرین کی بحالی کے لیے امداد کا مناسب حصہ حاصل کرنا چاہتا ہے جس کا جنیوا میں منعقدہ ڈونرز کانفرنس میں عالمی شراکت داروں نے وعدہ کیا تھا۔\”

    آئین کے مطابق قومی مالیاتی کمیشن (این ایف سی) ایوارڈ میں بلوچستان کا حصہ محفوظ تھا تاہم صوبے کو گزشتہ مالی سال کے دوران 11 ارب روپے کم ملے جبکہ رواں مالی سال کی اس سہ ماہی کی ادائیگی جو کہ 40 ارب روپے کے قریب ہے۔ فراہم نہیں کیا گیا تھا. انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ \”ہم این ایف سی ایوارڈ میں اپنا واجب الادا حصہ مانگتے ہیں نہ کہ وفاق سے کوئی ریلیف پیکیج،\” انہوں نے مزید کہا

    انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ وفاقی حکومت نے سیلاب متاثرین کی بحالی کے لیے صوبے کو فنڈز نہیں دیے۔ انہوں نے سیاسی قیادت پر زور دیا کہ وہ مضبوط اور خوشحال پاکستان کے لیے جمہوریت اور معیشت کے نئے چارٹر پر دستخط کے لیے اجتماعی کوششیں کریں۔

    وہ چاہتے تھے کہ تمام پارٹیاں اپنے مفادات کو بالائے طاق رکھتے ہوئے ملک کو بچانے کا سوچیں۔

    انہوں نے کہا کہ ملک میں شفاف انتخابات کے انعقاد سے ہی نظام کو بہتر طریقے سے چلایا جا سکتا ہے۔ تاہم، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ انتخابات کے انعقاد کے لیے معاشی استحکام ضروری ہے کیونکہ ان سے قومی خزانے کو 75 ارب روپے سے زائد کا نقصان ہوگا۔

    انہوں نے کہا کہ بلوچستان کے وسائل بشمول سی پیک، ریکوڈک، سیندک اور معدنیات کا دنیا بھر میں چرچا ہے۔ امیر خطہ ہونے کے باوجود ہم آج بھی غربت کا شکار ہیں۔ مرکز صوبے کے تئیں اپنی ذمہ داری احسن طریقے سے ادا نہیں کر رہا ہے۔

    بلوچ نے کہا کہ بلوچستان میں ترقی کا عمل رک گیا ہے کیونکہ پی ایس ڈی پی صوبے کا نظام چلاتی ہے، جو اس وقت منجمد تھا۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ صوبائی حکومت نے پی ایس ڈی پی، غیر تعیناتی اخراجات اور جاری اسکیموں میں بھی کمی کی ہے۔

    انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ہم نے وفاقی حکومت سے 10,000 ٹریکٹر اور 200 بلڈوزر مانگے لیکن کچھ فراہم نہیں کیا گیا۔ صوبائی حکومت نے اپنے وسائل سے کسانوں میں 4 ارب روپے کے بیج تقسیم کیے ہیں۔
