    But Mr Albanese also stressed diplomacy as a vital means to stabilise Australia\’s relationship with Beijing.
    \”Recognising the value of direct dialogue, seeking to co-operate where we can, while being prepared to disagree where we must. And always acting in our national interest and in support of regional stability,\” he said.
    Action on climate change will also prove an \”entry ticket\” to productive conversations with other nations in the region, Mr Albanese said.
    In , ASIO director-general Mike Burgess said the Indo-Pacific was \”home to great power competition\”, with the power of the US contested by the rise of China, and territorial disputes in the South China Sea and Kashmir.

    But Mr Albanese also stressed diplomacy as a vital means to stabilise Australia\’s relationship with Beijing.

    Mr Albanese described the summit, to be held in Sydney next week, as an \”important step\” on the road to a national cyber security strategy, to be released later this year.

    پاکستان میں سائبر سیکیورٹی پر بڑھتے ہوئے خدشات کے درمیان، پاکستان ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن اتھارٹی (PTA) نے حال ہی میں نیشنل ٹیلی کام سیکیورٹی آپریشنز سینٹر (NTSOC) کا آغاز کیا ہے، جو ایک مرکزی پلیٹ فارم ہے جس کا مقصد ملک کے ٹیلی کام سیکٹر میں سائبر سیکیورٹی کے واقعات کو مؤثر طریقے سے منظم اور کم کرنا ہے۔

    این ٹی ایس او سی ٹیلی کام آپریٹرز کے ایس او سی اور قومی کمپیوٹر ایمرجنسی رسپانس ٹیم (سی ای آر ٹی) کے ساتھ ضم ہو جائے گا، فوری اور مؤثر واقعے کے ردعمل کو یقینی بنائے گا۔ چھ ٹیلی کام آپریٹرز کو NTSOC کے ساتھ ضم کر دیا گیا ہے، باقی کے ساتھ بتدریج پیروی کی جائے گی۔ بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ اس منصوبے میں سائبر سیکیورٹی کے بڑھتے ہوئے خطرات سے نمٹنے کے لیے فراہم کردہ حل میں مسلسل اضافہ شامل ہے۔

    سائبر سیکیورٹی پروٹوکول کی اہمیت کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے، ملک نے کہا، \”سائبر سیکیورٹی اب ایسا مسئلہ نہیں ہے جسے نظر انداز کیا جا سکتا ہے، کیونکہ تنظیموں کو درپیش سائبر خطرات کی بڑھتی ہوئی تعداد کے پیش نظر۔ یہ قومی سلامتی کا معاملہ ہے اور حکومت اور نجی شعبے دونوں کو اپنے سسٹمز اور ڈیٹا کو ورچوئل حملوں سے بچانے کے لیے فعال اقدامات کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ این ٹی ایس او سی کا قیام ایک مثبت قدم ہے، لیکن ابھی بہت کام کرنا باقی ہے۔

    اسلام آباد: پاکستان ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن اتھارٹی (پی ٹی اے) نے ٹیلی کام انفراسٹرکچر پر سائبر حملوں کا مقابلہ کرنے کے لیے ایک مرکزی پلیٹ فارم کا آغاز کیا ہے۔

    پی ٹی اے کے جاری کردہ ایک بیان کے مطابق، نیشنل ٹیلی کام سیکیورٹی آپریشن سینٹر (این ٹی ایس او سی) کا آغاز ٹیلی کام انفراسٹرکچر کی سیکیورٹی کو بہتر بنانے اور \”پاکستان کے لیے ایک محفوظ اور لچکدار سائبر اسپیس\” بنانے کے مقصد سے کیا گیا ہے۔

    PTA نے مزید کہا کہ NTSOC سائبر سیکیورٹی پالیسی کی تشکیل کے بعد بننے والا پہلا سیکٹر فوکسڈ سیکیورٹی آپریشنز سنٹر ہوگا۔

    اس مرکز میں تین کلیدی اجزاء ہوں گے: سیکیورٹی انڈینٹ اینڈ ایونٹ مینجمنٹ (SIEM)، تھریٹ انٹیلی جنس، اور سیکیورٹی آرکیسٹریشن اور آٹومیٹڈ ریسپانس (SOAR) جنہیں مقامی ضروریات کے مطابق بنایا گیا ہے۔

    پی ٹی اے کے مطابق، اس پورٹل کے انضمام کے ساتھ، ٹیلی کام کمپنیاں اور انٹرنیٹ سروس فراہم کرنے والے پی ٹی اے اور دیگر صنعتی آپریٹرز کے ساتھ خطرے کی انٹیلی جنس شیئر کر سکیں گے۔

    یہ پورٹل PTA اور ٹیلی کام سروس فراہم کرنے والوں کے درمیان سائبر سیکیورٹی کے تازہ ترین خطرات، واقعات، خطرات، سیکیورٹی خبروں اور دیگر معلومات کے بارے میں معلومات کے تبادلے میں سہولت فراہم کرے گا۔

    ملک نے کہا، \”یہ پاکستان میں قومی سلامتی کے اداروں کے لیے ایک بڑھتی ہوئی تشویش بن گئی ہے، جو سائبر سیکیورٹی کے بہتر اقدامات کی ضرورت کو اجاگر کرتے رہتے ہیں۔\”

    \”یہ مسئلہ صرف پبلک سیکٹر تک ہی محدود نہیں ہے – پرائیویٹ فرمیں بھی سائبر سیکیورٹی کو سنجیدگی سے لے رہی ہیں – دیکھتے ہوئے کہ سب کچھ ڈیجیٹل ہوتا جارہا ہے،\” انہوں نے مزید کہا، \”اس کے نتیجے میں، چیف سائبر تھریٹ یا چیف سائبر سیکیورٹی کی پوسٹ ہر ادارے میں افسر کا عہدہ معمول بن چکا ہے۔

    \”ایک سال کے دوران، حکومت نے ایک قومی سائبر سیکورٹی پالیسی جاری کی – جو سائبر خطرات سے نمٹنے کی طرف ایک قدم تھا۔ این ٹی ایس او سی کے ساتھ حکومت اب سائبر خطرات سے نمٹنے کے لیے اپنی کوششوں کو مرکزی بنانا چاہتی ہے،‘‘ ملک نے کہا۔

    \”سرکاری اور نجی شعبے دونوں کو سائبر حملوں سے خود کو بچانے کے لیے سائبر سیکیورٹی ماہر کمپنیوں کی خدمات حاصل کرنی ہوں گی،\” انہوں نے مزید کہا، \”یہ اقدام آئی ٹی کمپنیوں کے لیے اپنی سائبر سیکیورٹی صلاحیتوں کو فروغ دینے اور تنظیموں کو تحفظ فراہم کرنے میں مدد کرنے کا موقع بھی فراہم کرتا ہے۔ خود سائبر خطرات سے۔\”

    Supernet Limited، حال ہی میں پاکستان اسٹاک ایکسچینج (PSX) میں درج ایک کمپنی، سائبر سیکیورٹی کی طرف بڑھ رہی ہے، جبکہ سسٹم لمیٹڈ نے بھی حال ہی میں سائبر سیکیورٹی ڈومین کو تلاش کرنے کے منصوبوں کا اعلان کیا ہے۔

    \”ایک بڑے بینک کے ڈپازٹرز کے کھاتوں سے رقم چوری ہونے کا حالیہ واقعہ سائبر سیکیورٹی کے بہتر اقدامات کی ضرورت کو اجاگر کرتا ہے۔ یہ مسئلہ صرف پاکستان تک ہی محدود نہیں ہے بلکہ یہ عالمی سطح پر پھیل چکا ہے۔ یہ سرکاری اور نجی دونوں شعبوں کے لیے جاگنے کی کال ہے کہ وہ اپنے سائبر سیکیورٹی پروٹوکول کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے ضروری اقدامات کریں،‘‘ ملک نے زور دیا۔

    سائبر سیکیورٹی پروٹوکول کی اہمیت کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے، ملک نے کہا، \”سائبر سیکیورٹی اب ایسا مسئلہ نہیں ہے جسے نظر انداز کیا جا سکتا ہے، کیونکہ تنظیموں کو درپیش سائبر خطرات کی بڑھتی ہوئی تعداد کے پیش نظر۔ یہ قومی سلامتی کا معاملہ ہے اور حکومت اور نجی شعبے دونوں کو اپنے سسٹمز اور ڈیٹا کو ورچوئل حملوں سے بچانے کے لیے فعال اقدامات کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ این ٹی ایس او سی کا قیام ایک مثبت قدم ہے، لیکن ابھی بہت کام کرنا باقی ہے۔
