Police in Karachi arrested around 65 people who were part of a rally expressing support for the Baloch Yakjehti Council’s sit-in in Islamabad. The protesters were booked for rioting and other offenses. The police had strict orders to prevent any gathering by Baloch activists. Security measures were put in place at the rally location, and many individuals were arrested as they tried to assemble. Women and children were not detained, but some buses and a sound system were confiscated. An FIR was filed stating that the protesters disrupted traffic and threw stones, leading to their arrest.
