The Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir met the Kuwait Crown Prince during his official visit to Kuwait. Interim Law Minister Ahmad Irfan Aslam and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait were also part of the delegation. Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar also landed in Kuwait to strengthen ties. The leaders are expected to sign memorandums of understanding regarding cooperation in various sectors like manpower, information technology, and energy. This visit marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Kuwait. The prime minister arrived in Kuwait after visiting the UAE, where MoUs for investment cooperation were signed. These agreements are expected to bring in “multi-billion dollars” in funding from the UAE. The visit is expected to establish a new era of economic cooperation between the two countries.
