Conservation officers in Salmon Arm, B.C. are investigating a black bear attack on a woman while she was running on a trail. The bear knocked her to the ground, bit and shook her, and then left the area. The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Conservation officers have put up warning signs in the area and canvassed nearby homes. They remained at the attack site for several hours but did not see any bears. The B.C.
