The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has stopped Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), from going to trial in jail in a cipher case. The court has postponed the case until November 16. The decision was made by a two-member bench, and the government’s Attorney General Mansoor Awan presented the government’s arguments. He said that the government had approved the jail trial, and the notification would be presented to the court. More information to come.
