Gold prices in Pakistan were mostly steady on Friday, with the price of one tola (a measurement equal to approximately 11.66 grams) being Rs211,300. This represented a small decrease of Rs50 compared to the previous day. The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold was Rs181,156, after dropping by Rs42 during the day. These rates were provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association. The day before, the price per tola of gold in Pakistan had been Rs211,350, showing a significant increase of Rs2,900. In the global market, gold was being sold for $1,987 per ounce on Friday, experiencing a decline of $3. It should be noted that gold traders in Pakistan usually add a premium of $20 to the international price, resulting in a rate of $2,007 for the Pakistani market. On the other hand, the price of silver remained stable at Rs2,550 per tola.
