Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), is being celebrated with great religious enthusiasm across the country. The day began with gun salutes in the federal and provincial capitals. It is a public holiday and processions are being held. Special prayers were offered in mosques for the unity of the Muslim community and the progress of the country. Conferences and events are being organized to honor the last messenger and his teachings. A two-day national conference called Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) is starting in the federal capital, where religious leaders and scholars will discuss various aspects of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet. The President and the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan greeted the nation and the Muslim community on this occasion. They urged people to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet, including brotherhood, compassion, and unity, to become a symbol of tolerance and coexistence. The President emphasized that the arrival of the Holy Prophet was the most blessed event in history and his teachings reflect the comprehensiveness and universality of Islam. The Prime Minister called on people to help those in need and work towards building an equal society.
