Eid-i-Miladun Nabi, the celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, was observed with religious enthusiasm in Pakistan. Political leaders emphasized the importance of unity and promoted Prophet Muhammad’s teachings as examples to follow. The day began with gun salutes in the capital and provincial capitals, followed by special prayers for Muslim unity and the country’s progress. Events and ceremonies were organized to honor Prophet Muhammad and highlight his life and teachings. In the days leading up to the celebration, buildings, streets, mosques, and houses were decorated with colorful lights. President Arif Alvi highlighted the arrival of the Holy Prophet as a blessing for humanity and described his teachings as universal and timeless guidance for mankind. He urged Pakistanis to value their cultural and religious diversity and work towards unity and understanding. Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar stressed the importance of brotherhood, compassion, and unity as taught by Prophet Muhammad. He called for following the Prophet’s teachings during challenging times and emphasized the need for compassion towards the less fortunate. The prime minister urged Pakistanis to embody the values of the Prophet in their personal lives and prayed for a peaceful and progressive Pakistan.
