The Pakistani rupee has strengthened against the US dollar, with the exchange rate currently below Rs290 in the interbank market. At around 9:48am, the dollar was trading at Rs289.78, which is Rs1.18 lower than yesterday’s closing rate of Rs290.86. This rise in the rupee’s value is a continuation of the positive trend that started when the government took action against illegal dollar trading with the support of the army. More updates on this topic will be provided later.
