The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) in Islamabad found a bag containing three grenades, a pistol, and a threatening letter from an unknown group called Tehreek Tahaffuz Namoos-i-Pakistan. The letter was addressed to judges and generals and stated that the situation in Pakistan is getting worse, with rising inflation and interference from generals in politics. The bag also contained a map with information about important buildings in the capital. The BDS received a call about the bag and immediately cordoned off the area. The police have started an investigation into the matter. In addition, the capital police’s Counter-Terrorism Department conducted a search and combing operation in certain areas, resulting in the verification of 85 suspicious individuals and the checking of 65 houses. The purpose of these operations is to enhance security in the capital. The public has been asked to cooperate with the police during these checks.
