Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah may not be able to participate in the upcoming World Cup due to a shoulder injury. He was already ruled out of the Asia Cup after sustaining the injury during a match against India. Initial scans revealed that the injury was worse than expected, but the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is still monitoring Naseem’s condition. They are consulting with medical experts to provide the best possible care and will make a decision regarding his return to cricket based on further assessments. Naseem, who is 20 years old, is an important part of Pakistan’s pace trio along with Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf. However, Rauf also suffered an injury and had to miss a game in the Asia Cup. Naseem’s absence will impact Pakistan’s chances in the World Cup, which begins on October 5 in India. Pakistan was unable to reach the final of the Asia Cup after losing to India and Sri Lanka. In the Asia Cup final, India and Sri Lanka will face off in Colombo on Sunday.
