The US plans to take further action at the United Nations in response to North Korea’s actions. Sullivan also emphasized the close alignment between the US, South Korea, and Japan to respond to any collaboration between Kim and Putin. During the summit, Putin expressed a willingness to help North Korea with satellite technology and Kim voiced his support for Putin. US officials have warned that an arms deal between North Korea and Russia would violate UN Security Council resolutions.
