Krieger and Kevin Systrom, the founders of Instagram, have created a new company that aims to develop a news app using artificial intelligence. The app uses AI to recommend interesting articles based on the user’s reading habits and can even rewrite headlines to make them more useful. It is also incorporating social features to provide a wider range of content to readers.

Recently, Artifact, the company’s new app, launched a feature called Links. This feature recommends various types of content that users input, such as recipes, design mockups, and old Steve Jobs memos. It also includes a following feed, allowing users to follow link influencers.

Krieger will join other industry leaders at the Code Conference, including Linda Yaccarino, Mary Barra, and Robert Kyncl. The conference, hosted by The Verge editor-in-chief Nilay Patel, Platformer founder Casey Newton, and CNBC correspondent Julia Boorstin, will take place on September 26th and 27th at the Ritz-Carlton in California. The event will feature special guest speakers, including co-founder Kara Swisher.
