On Thursday, there was a blast in Mastung district in Balochistan, Pakistan. Hafiz Hamdullah from the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) party was injured in the blast. Four other people were also injured and have been taken to a nearby hospital. Hamdullah and the others were traveling from Quetta to Kalat when the explosion happened. The JUI-F party released a statement saying that Hamdullah is now safe and out of danger.

The police quickly arrived at the scene and blocked off the area. Former president Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed their condemnation of the incident and prayed for the injured individuals.

Zardari emphasized the need for terrorists and their supporters to be held accountable under the law.
