Five members of the Pakistan cricket team have started a two-day training camp in preparation for an upcoming One-day International series. The players currently in Lahore are opener Abdullah Shafique, all-rounder Faheem Ashraf, pacer Mohammad Wasim Jr, and batters Salman Ali Agha and Saud Shakeel. The rest of the team, including captain Babar Azam, are already in Sri Lanka for the Lanka Premier League and will join their teammates there. Fast bowlers Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi, along with wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan, will also join the team in Sri Lanka before their departure. To assist with the training of the five players in Lahore, the Pakistan Cricket Board has invited eight additional players. The matches are scheduled to take place in Hambantota from August 22-26.
