Billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk have continued their rivalry on social media. Zuckerberg accused Musk of not taking their proposed charity fight seriously, claiming that Musk kept changing the terms and suggesting alternative locations. In response, Musk called Zuckerberg a “chicken” and said he would go to Silicon Valley to confront him. The two have been going back and forth about the fight, with Musk previously stating that it would take place in Italy, after speaking to the Italian Prime Minister. However, Zuckerberg posted a photo of himself preparing for the fight and stated that he has been ready to fight since Musk challenged him. Italian Culture Minister confirmed discussions with Musk about organizing a charity event, but stated that it will not be held in Rome. The tech titans have become direct competitors since Zuckerberg’s Meta launched its Twitter-like Threads platform. Musk mentioned the possibility of needing minor surgery for a shoulder problem, but assured that it wouldn’t affect the fight. The match, if agreed upon, would raise significant funds for Italian pediatric hospitals.
