Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi to say goodbye and express his appreciation for the sacrifices made by the Shuhadas, Ghazis, and their families. He was warmly received by Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir. The Prime Minister attended a ceremony at the Army Auditorium to honor the Shuhadas and Ghazis. He met with the Principal Staff Officers, received a Guard of Honour, and laid a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada. The Prime Minister commended the Armed Forces for protecting the country and fighting terrorism. He emphasized the importance of respecting and honoring the sacrifices of the Shuhadas and Ghazis, acknowledging that the peace and freedom enjoyed in Pakistan today is thanks to their bravery. He condemned those who disrespect the memorials of the Shuhadas and assured that their actions will not be forgotten. During the visit, the Prime Minister also provided financial assistance to 70 families of martyrs and 30 injured individuals. Laptops were distributed to the children of Shuhadas pursuing their education.
