Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir to discuss the latest developments and cooperation between the two countries. The meeting took place at the Pakistani Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi. They talked about defense-military cooperation and security in the common borders. Amirabdollahian arrived in Islamabad for a three-day official visit and also met with Pakistani counterpart Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to strengthen political, economic, and defense relations. He is scheduled to leave Islamabad for Karachi to meet with local officials and businesses, as well as Iranians residing there.
