The Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore has accepted the bail applications of Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, and Asad Umar, a party deserter, in terrorism cases. Both Qureshi and Umar appeared before the court. Qureshi is facing six cases related to his involvement in attacks on Corps Commander House, Askari Tower, and other incidents. The court has granted interim bail to Qureshi until August 8 and will continue the discussion on bail in the next hearing.
