Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) has introduced Connected Care, a remote patient care ecosystem that transforms healthcare delivery by providing seamless services directly to patients’ homes. This innovative solution emphasizes the relationship and remote monitoring by trusted healthcare professionals, allowing patients and their loved ones to access healthcare anytime, anywhere. SJMC has partnered with the Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology & Innovation (MRANTI) and joined the Hab HealthTech MRANTI initiative to advance healthcare technology and foster transformative innovation in patient care.

Connected Care expands on SJMC’s existing services, including HomeConnect, TeleConnect, and SeniorConnect. SeniorConnect, a core component of Connected Care, offers customized remote monitoring services for elderly patients aged 65 and above who may live far from their loved ones. Through this service, healthcare professionals can accurately record and monitor vital signs and provide immediate assistance when needed.

By collaborating with Hab HealthTech MRANTI, SJMC gains access to various healthcare technology companies, empowering them to explore and leverage innovative solutions to enhance patient care quality. The partnership aims to evaluate the performance of these technologies in a real healthcare environment and provide the best outcomes for patients.

Connected Care also includes other services such as GPConnect, ICUConnect, and HospitalConnect, which cater to different patient needs. SJMC’s commitment to excellence has earned them recognition from the Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) as one of the four finalists in the Hospital Perdana Program 2021-2025. This signifies SJMC’s dedication to delivering excellent healthcare services to both local and international patients.
