Starbucks Korea is launching a promotional event for the summer of 2023. The event, called the e-Frequency reward program, offers limited-edition gift items to Starbucks members who purchase a total of 17 drinks, including three special mission drinks. The theme of this year’s event is “Summer On,” which aims to bring joy and the Starbucks experience to customers everywhere this summer.

The gift items for the event include side tables in three different colors, as well as pans and plates with Starbucks branding. The side tables are a collaboration with outdoor brand Helinox and feature special colors and designs that capture the unique sensibility of Starbucks. The pans and plates are made by kitchenware specialist Neoflam and have wooden handles for safer use.

To make it easier for customers, Starbucks Korea has implemented a mobile reservation system for the gift distribution. Customers can make reservations via the Starbucks mobile application and then visit the designated store to pick up their gifts during the promotion period.

The event has already generated significant interest, with a 50 percent increase in the number of people accessing the Starbucks mobile application on the first day of the event compared to the day before. The company also saw an 80 percent increase in activity during specific time slots, indicating strong enthusiasm among coffee lovers in Korea.
