The federal cabinet of Pakistan has approved four protocols to be signed with China. The protocols aim to boost trade between the two countries. The protocols cover the export of donkey skins, dried chilies, beef, and dairy products to China. The purpose of these protocols is to regulate the export of these products. The law and justice ministry has already given its approval to the protocols.
The cabinet also approved security arrangements for the Dasu Hydel Power Project. A task force will be created, consisting of personnel from the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Rangers, GB Scouts, Levies, and police. This task force will be responsible for the protection of the power project and its staff at the site.
These decisions were made by circulation, as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was not present in the country. The approval of these protocols and security arrangements is expected to strengthen the trade relationship between Pakistan and China.
