President Dr Arif Alvi expressed concern over the current economic and political crisis in Pakistan. He urged leaders of all institutions to focus on national priorities, such as overcoming poverty, improving the economy, providing health and education facilities, checking population growth, and eliminating inequalities from society. He emphasized the need for upholding the rule of law and holding peaceful protests in the country. Dr Alvi talked about promoting forgiveness and love for humanity, leading to tolerance and harmony in society. To keep up with the world’s advancements, he suggested accelerating the decision-making process and investing in education and skill development in the fields of IT, AI, cloud and quantum computing, and cyber security. He highlighted the importance of strengthening Pakistan’s cyber capabilities to enhance protection against cyber warfare threats.
