    Air Defence Radars

    Fire Control Radar

If high tracking performance and operation-on-the-move are both requirements that cannot be avoided, ASELSAN's Fire Control Radar is the solution.

The Fire Control Radar is a short range 3-D tracking radar for land and naval air defense weapon system applications. The radar allows for integrated guns to be directed and locked on to targets, and thus, is suitable for use as the tracking radar in mobile air defense weapon systems. Its naval version accurately addresses naval Close-In Weapon Systems (CIWS).
The Fire Control Radar has been designed specifically for tracked vehicle integration and can operate on-the-move.

    KALKAN Air Defence Radar

    3D Air Defense Radar

As a field proven system with numerous units serving the Turkish Army, KALKAN is an ideal choice as the main search radar for low and medium range air defense command & control and missile systems.

KALKAN is a three dimensional radar system for low and medium range air defense mission operations. Benefiting from its electronic scanning capability in elevation and multi-beam architecture, the radar enables fast and accurate detection and tracking of low altitude air targets in three dimensions, providing the air picture for the command & control system.
KALKAN can track multiple targets accurately, adding classification and identification information to each target track. The system employs a phased array antenna with multi-beam architecture optimized for search and track functions. KALKAN is a compact and easy-to-use standalone radar system with sensor on a trailer towed by a tactical truck.
KALKAN can send target and jammer reports to Command Control Systems over its radio and can receive commands from the C2 system. KALKAN is currently the main radar of the Turkish Armed Forces' mobile Air Defense Early Warning and Command Control System (HERİKKS) and Medium Altitude Air Defense Missile System.

    Mobile Search Radar

Air Defense Weapon System Mobile Search Radar

ASELSAN Mobile Search Radar is a short range 3D search and track radar for mobile air defense weapon systems and point air defense of critical assets. The radar can track multiple targets accurately, adding classification and identification information to each target track. The system has been designed specifically for tracked vehicle integration and may be used as the main vehicle-mount search radar for low altitude air defense command control and missile systems.
The Mobile Search Radar is the new generation reflection of ASELSAN's heritage in air defense radar systems. Elaborately equipped with advanced radar technologies, the system employs and agile Active Phased Array Antenna that provides electronic scanning in elevation, complemented with its Digital Beamforming architecture that provides wide close in area elevation coverage together with elevation angular resolution.

    Reconnaissance-Surveillance Radars

    ACAR Ground Surveillance Radar

As confirmed by numerous international customers, ACAR is the most cost-effective and integration-friendly surveillance radar in its class, with no compromise on performance.

ACAR is the third generation member of ASELSAN’s family of surveillance radars. ASELSAN’s heritage in surveillance radars exceeds 20 years, during which hundreds of radars have been delivered to both the Turkish Armed Forces and international customers. The advanced features and man-machine interface design implemented in ACAR have been inspired substantially by the feedback of operators who have used these radars on the field.
ACAR detects, tracks and classifies moving targets on the ground or on the sea, as well as low flying airborne targets. ACAR is also used for artillery fire adjustment, providing feedback on the fall of shot with respect to the intended target. The compact and lightweight ACAR system built on solid-state design, employs a versatile interface that allows for convenient integration on vehicles and elevated masts or towers. The radar may also be operated as a stand-alone system on its tripod. ACAR also supports interfaces for integration with Command & Control Systems, and stands out as an ideal system for border/perimeter surveillance.

    ALPER Naval LPI Radar

ALPER is the ideal naval LPI radar of choice for vessels that already have a navigation radar and console on board.

ALPER is a low probability of intercept (LPI) naval radar system for the detection of sea surface targets. Developed specifically for wartime navigation of military vessels, ALPER's LPI characteristic is vital in detecting surrounding targets while not being detected by enemy vessels. ALPER's design allows for integration with Warfare Management Systems and existing navigation radars on the vessel, and hence can be operated via a mutual console. Therefore, ALPER can conveniently be integrated on all types of vessels.

    SAR- Synthetic Aperture Radar

ASELSAN's SAR System is the right option for international customers seeking a technically upper-class yet cost-effective sensor.

ASELSAN's Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is an airborne radar system for high resolution ground imaging and for the detection of moving targets on the ground. SAR systems are valuable in airborne surveillance applications, allowing for effective 24/7 imaging under all kinds of adverse weather conditions. ASELSAN's system offers the finest resolution achievable in its class.
Three distinct operating modes allow for flexible use based on mission requirements. The Spotlight Mode provides high resolution imaging of a specific area of interest, the Stripmap Mode offers imaging of broader areas, and the GMTI modes enables the detection of moving targets on the ground. The system employs a modular design approach, and thus can be conveniently integrated on various manned and unmanned aircraft. The radar can be employed in a variety of military and civilian applications involving airborne surveillance and imaging.

    SERDAR Coastal Surveillance LPI Radar

SERDAR offers an unmatched variety of options for special coastal surveillance applications that require close-range monitoring of the shoreline, or high resolution target discrimination, or a combination of both.

SERDAR is a family of low probability of intercept (LPI) Coastal Surveillance Radars for the detection of sea surface targets. Its LPI characteristic arises from low output power and special waveform methods employed. The LPI characteristic is desirable specifically in critical coastal regions in order to effectively apprehend threatening targets.
SERDAR is available in two different antenna configurations that offer superior close-range performance or enhanced target resolution. Both configurations are compliant with IALA V-128 "Operation and Technical Requirements for Vessel Traffic Services Equipment".
The solid-state power amplifier technology and modular approach employed in SERDAR's design allow for long useful life and convenient maintenance. Its ability to integrate with Command & Control Systems renders SERDAR exceptionally suitable for coastal surveillance applications such as coastal surveillance, vessel traffic control and harbor control.
