we should learn from european countries, even though they fought for many centuries amongst themselves in the past but look at them now, they have a common currency(euro),no border dispute at all, free trade, train service and many more...
They are the experienced ones, they know that fighting and all, won't take them anywhere but to their devastation.

we should learn from their experience, not experience it first and then learn it from our experience because that will be too late.

Who said anything about becoming best buddies? Don't you see they are not going anywhere and that's going to be the case forever. Toleration and acceptance would be a start. We on a forum of this nature are not going to change the mindset of millions but we have to attempt to voice the fact that their should be a common ground and acceptance of each others existence and make the best of it.

yes,we are not but we don't want any enemy either. If european countries can live with peace and brotherhood despite of centuries of fighting then why can't we take a step towards it.Its a long journey but one has to take the first step.

This programme took place less than 10 years ago, can't believe Indians had sentiments like this for Pakistan, judging by things now.

Slamming all extremists, some Indians stand for peace with Pakistan

KARACHI: And the hate lost it eventually, while peace and love prevailed as a large number of Indian citizens on Saturday expressed their wish for tranquility with Pakistan through social media, rejecting the hard-lined Shiv Sena and its promoter – Modi government.

Unbridled extremism is a scar on the face of Indian society, which is also ruining our culture – the Indian citizens after all opened up against the fanaticism which has recently taken over the neighboring country by storm.

Indian masses strongly reacted to it on Facebook, followed by their response on Twitter by running a hashtag #ProfileForPeace, posing with a picture carrying a message for tranquility between the two states.

Lets face it hunger and poverty has no nationality race or religion and we have more than our share in Pakistan and India.

The working and disenfranchised should overthrow the likes of Modi and Nawaz

Have always felt in the UK Pakistanis and Indians have no qualms and get on really well. Must be something in the sub continent water that generates the hostility

The latest spats have diluted any potential brotherhood and lets be honest the aggression seems to be one way recently. All coming from India.
