a single source news about j10 joining paf next year..
    I got you

and its true that our dedicated media and amateur reporting sometimes lacks the understanding or proof of what it is claiming.
what I mentioned earlier was based on my chance sightings of these crafts on two different occasions.. which some other people in the area claim to be seeing all around the year.

they could be for evaluation, Chinese participating in exercises (there was no press release about that) or confusion with another delta wing aircraft like Mirages ..

probably "Initial Ordered Batch'; possibility of more induction is there as we know that only one searching radar is used with single deployed sys, so more will come later or in-house licence production

that is a conundrum...Why 8 radars and only 3 launch vehicles?
The radar itself is pretty good. has a tracking range of 150Km and robust system against enemy jamming.

i am guessing these are gap fillers. Pakistan lacks modern radars and still relies on old Giraffe and other 60s/70s era Radars for air surveillance . The most modern Radars Pakistan has at the moment are the AN-tps 77,of which Pakistan has i think 4 systems. The whole radar system of Pakistan is interlinked to a network and info being shared.
Addition of another 8 Modern, jamming proof Radars will certainly help.

soon to discuss the purchase of Chinese fighters, according to Richard D Fisher and James Hardy, two defense experts based in Washington and London, in their article written for the UK-based Jane's Defence Weekly.

The Argentine Air Force has not yet decided how many aircraft it will purchase from China. According to one newspaper source, Augustin Rossi, the country's defense minster, said that the number is no less than 12 and no more than 24. At the same time, the defense minister did not say what type of fighter Argentina was interested in buying from China.

The local newspaper went on to say that either J-10 or FC-1/JL-17 fighters may be purchased by the Argentine Air Force. Both are manufactured by Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group.

Many parts are made in Pakistan, and it depends where they want to assemble the planes. In china or PAC Kamra. In any case revenue will come to Pakistan.
But truth be told the order if it happens will be too small. 12 minimum and 24 maximum jets, and they may go for J-10 all together.
