But in a peacetime scenario, and inside Indian territory and they took away the head as bounty. Now won't that enrage the hole country?

That was a deliberate covert op against Indian armed forces by Pakistani establishment. That surely deserves retaliation.

Covert op or not, it was a combat operation, and therefore your rationale defending the Indian beheadings should be applicable in this event as well.

Lol ... That reminds me of Animal Farm: "All animals are equal...but some are more equal than others".

According to one Indian report the second body was found with the throat split. PA soldiers couldn't finish the job as they came under fire, the report concluded. Doesn't look like a peace time situation.
According to another Indian report the PA was provoked. They had the right to lock target and kill or get killed.

There is an admittance of beheadings. Most gruesome WHOEVER is doing it sir. Dont mix patriotism with what is an act that we should all condemn.

Skully I admire your patriotism but India is exposed and this time by her own men. There is no way you can deny of justify justify the beheadings by IA in the past.

Come come - this isnt like you. A beheading is bad news whoever and whenever its done. I think your passion for your nation is admirable but blind admiration is plain daft mate. I think one should have a re think

Yes, the Indian Army raided across the LOC and like in Feb 2000 in Lanjot village when they beheaded the heads of two men and a women, they did this as well.

No excuse for this inhumane behaviour by anyone. In the case of Pakistan there is no admission only allegations on the part of India well I am more than shocked by a senior Indian officer admitting it.

What also shocks me is that some Indians fully aware of this then show outrage at the allegations they make about Pakistan

And the most surprising thing is that Indian TV anchors and most journalists did not even talk about it. Even Barkha Dutt, who conducted programmes on this alleged beheading did not even talk about it.

And then look at Indian Army, they also jumped in the melee by showing off the mines. Thousands and thousands of these mines have been laid along the LOC by Indians and Pakistanis since 1948 war. And finding these in Indian or Pakistani territory is not at all difficult. And knowingly so, as this is a fact, they attempted to create further escalation in the environment through those mines which could have been laid in 1965, 1971 or thereafter.

It was really a shameful display of lie and deceit by Indian government, Indian Army, media and their politicians etc.

By knowing it and not talking about it till some others said so openly. We had identified it here on this forum that Indian Army had done this time and time again, much before some Indians started making it public.

Beheading is a very serious issue. If Pakistan would have raised, then it would have been a bombshell on India. But I don't recall such issue being raised by Pakistan. The Admiral is not telling the truth.

We are fully aware its a serious issue. Thats why we raised the issue and requested a third party investigation. Your nation did not respond suggesting they had something to hide. Your nation accused us of a hideous crime and then backed out of a UN investigation. You now take your tinted glasses off and decide who is lying.
The admiral who has gained such a high position of duty via hard work and hard earned, one that has gained the respect of national and internationally. one that is renouned for telling the truth is now according to you a liar because he speaks a few home truths that you find it difficult to swallow? Incredible Jade. Please stop the patriotism and view the evidence objectively

My post was in the context of 'India beheading a Pakistani soldier' and not about the recent issue. My question was if such beheading was done by Indian forces why did not Pakistan raised the issue. I don't recall such issue being raised by Pakistan in the past

One reason for Pakistan not raising this issue could be the fact that Pakistan, officially, denied any participation of regular Army troops in Kargil.
